You have been planning your trip to Walt Disney World for a long time now and, of course, you want it to be like the best experience ever, so, even though we know it is magical itself, there are some things you should carry on with you like “just-in-case items”. Unwanted events happen, right?

Here’s a list of 10 things you can’t forget to pack when visiting Disney World.

10. Sunscreen

If there’s one thing out of our control, it’s the weather.  Sunscreen is a must and other items like lip balm, hats and sunglasses, would be amazing helpers to keep your distance out of the relentless sun rays.

Disney parks in Florida have hit triple-digit heat before. Make sure everyone is coated in sunscreen. With all of the waiting you will be doing in lines for rides and on the streets for parades, your body will appreciate it!

9. Sweater

Here we go again… Weather!

Even though this item is more recommended for mornings/evenings for people traveling October – March, you may need a sweatshirt and sunscreen all in the same day. Remember nights can be chilly if you are staying late for some extra magic hours.

8. Rain Jacket or ponchos

SURPRISE! Weather is here… again.

When the sun is not blaring down on Disney parks, the rain can be torrential, and Florida showers can last anywhere from ten minutes to an entire day.

The most smart thing to do is to be prepared for both, so, pack a light rain jacket or a poncho (some of them are big enough to even cover your bag or a stroller), of course you can also buy them at the park (and they are beautiful) but if you can bring them from home you will also save some money.

7. Water Bottle and Snacks

If you want to enjoy the parks the most, you have to feel good and full of energy, otherwise, the experience won’t be that nice.

Disney has some amazing snacks.  But constantly buying snacks will get expensive. Pack handy snacks like mints or gum, goldfish, pretzels, or fruits to help stave off the cravings.  It will save you time and money too, so you’ll be able to buy those you really want to try!

Hydration is very important too, so, remember to bring your own water bottle (you can refill it almost everywhere at the parks and it will help you saving money).

6. Personal Fan

Inexpensive, lightweight and life savers, especially in crowdy spaces where you can feel warm faster. This little pieces of heaven will keep you fresh during a hot afternoon and they won’t need so much space in your bag.

5. External Battery Charger

Phone batteries drain so, so quickly at Disney World.

If you are constantly snapping and uploading pictures, texting and making phone calls, your phone will not survive until noon. Be sure to pack your external battery charger because nothing is more frustrating than getting separated from your family and being unable to contact them because of battery.

If you don’t have an external one, bring your convencional battery charger anyways. Disney parks offer charging for your phones, but you must leave them at the front of the park and return later.

Free WiFi in the parks and the great apps now available make your cell phone even more of a necessity in the parks!

4. Camera

Your phone may be your camera, and that’s fine.  But sometimes is better to have a dedicated camera for photos and video.

It is very important to bring a Camera Coat to protect your camera from unexpected incidents.

It’ll be up to yo to bring extra batteries, extra memory cards, charger, and maybe even extra lenses or even a tripod!

3. Pain Relief and Bandages

Disney can be specially overwhelming, so headaches, for example, can really happen.

Allergies, stomach aches… there are some health issues that can happen when in WDW easily.

Get a small bag with some medicine will help you continue enjoying your trip.

Make sure to include some bandages too, just in case!

2. Deodorant, Body Wipes

Please, be aware days at Walt Disney World are reeeaally long. You walk a lot, you SWEAT a lot. So, if you want to keep yourself fresh, as much as you can, remember to pack some hygiene products like deodorant and body wipes, go into one of the restrooms all over the park and come out like new!

1. Disney Gear

If you are a Disney lover, you sure have t-shirts, bags and accessories of your favorite characters… Bring them all!

Mouse ears will always be trending!

Disney World days can be long, so take this list and start packing until you are sure you’re ready. Having as much essentials as we can on hand, can make your days much more enjoyable.
