Going To Orlando on a family vacation? Here are some tips you need to know!

Going to Orlando is a vacation that millions of people take a year! It’s always a great experience, however here are three things I wish I knew before going. So if you’re planning on going to Orlando anytime soon, or are just curious about what it’s like, read on for my top three things I wish I knew!

Going to Orlando - I Wish I Knew You Needed A Ticket For Each Park

Firstly, not everyone knows you need separate tickets for EACH park. In other words, if you are going to “Disney World,” there is not just a single ticket you buy. Each of the four main theme parks has an individual ticket you must buy to go. I’m sure you see how expensive this gets having to buy all these tickets separately! Keep in mind that buying separate tickets for each park is the same at Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando – there is no way around it… unless you want discount tickets through Orlando Magical Getaway. We do offer 70% off theme park tickets in Orlando to help you get the most out of your Orlando Vacation! Give us a call today and let us help you plan your trip – that’s why we’re here!

Going to Orlando - There are so many other options other than disney

I always just associated Orlando with Disney World for a long time, but I had it all wrong. Universal and SeaWorld are both great theme park alternatives to Disney World! On top of that, Orlando also has many other attractions that are half the cost or downright free compared to Disney World. Disney has six theme parks, including their water parks BUT, Universal, SeaWorld, and Legoland have a total of 8 theme parks! Above all, here is a list of some other fun options to consider:

Going to Orlando - All The Attractions and theme parks are spread out

In addition to everything mentioned, I didn’t know how far each park was from one other. Often, people think that Universal and Disney World are right next to each other – they are NOT! Depending on traffic and time of day, you could be looking at least a 20 – 30 minute drive. Most people completely forget that SeaWorld exists, and it’s actually closer to Disney World than Universal! I created this helpful Orlando Theme Park map to help you plan out your trip. Whatever you do – don’t just wing it! Gas prices are high, and you really have to consider where you’re staying regarding how far the attractions are from your hotel. We offer discount tickets, gas cards, and discounted hotel stays. If you need help planning your trip, don’t hesitate to call us – we help hundreds of families plan out their vacations each month!
