You feel like you're going to fly out on the corkscrews

Firstly, the truth is to make sure the lap bar is snug. Just kidding, it’s the feeling of speed along with the adrenaline of the corkscrew that makes you feel light as a feather. I went multiple times on this ride, and each time I had my hands up the entire time of the corkscrew. It was the best feeling.

The Velociraptor statues play homage to dueling dragons

Do you remember Dueling Dragons? It was one of my favorite rollercoasters at Universal Orlando. The ride officially closed in 2017. One of the signature icons of the old attraction was the dragon statue of the dragons facing each other. The designers of Velocicoaster paid tribute to the ride by showcasing a velociraptor statue that stands at the rollercoaster entrance. It’s a clever touch to the newest attraction at Universal Studios.

The main drop is 80 degrees

Have you ever gone on a roller coaster ride and experienced that sudden, stomach-churning plunge? If so, you know what it feels like to drop in speed suddenly. That’s what happens on a Velocicoaster. This is an 80-degree vertical drop at the height of 140 feet. While this may sound terrifying, the thrill of the ride is undeniable!

Airtime to the max on velocicoaster

Universal Studios promises that you’ll get a full 12 seconds of air time during Velocicoaster. I say this is definitely true! If you do not like the feeling of coming off your seat, then I would reconsider. I recommend riding on the front row if you like this sensation! You feel like you’re going the fastest.

you go upside down on Velocicoaster

For a total of 100 feet of track, you go completely upside down! By this point, you’re going so fast that it’s not that scary. In other words, this feels like a few seconds. It creeps up on you after the main drop.
