It’s a Bug’s Life in Orlando!

by hci_admin

Be sure to crawl over to the Big Bug Art Exhibit as quickly as possible!

ICflorida lures you to experience an exhibit of immense proportions at the Harry P. Leu Gardens presents David Rogers’ Big Bugs, an outdoor exhibit of gargantuan insect sculptures displayed throughout the gardens from January 15th through April 15th, 2016.

The exhibit will feature 10 larger than life insects made from all natural materials such as wood, bark and twigs.

Various woods such as willow, red cedar, black walnut and black locust are used to create these massive insects. The materials along with the design give the sculptures a sense of motion.

Imagine seeing giant ants as long as 25 ft. and weighing 725 lbs each look like they are marching across the grass or as you walk along a path encounter a 12 ft. spider in its web!

Leu Gardens is open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. every day, closed December 25. Last admission is at 4:30 p.m.

$10 adult, $3 child, Free admission for Leu Garden’s Members
