Netflix’s wildly successful Stranger Things is back for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights celebration. It has brand new mazes and even scarier things waiting on the other side.
Inspired by seasons two and three of the critically-acclaimed series, Universal Studios has unveiled brand new mazes that are sure to spook their visitors during this year’s Halloween Horror Nights events. According to a press release by Universal, “This year’s chilling mazes will pick up where last year’s mazes left off, continuing the suspenseful storyline where a mysterious entity terrorizes the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, and delving even further into the parallel universe, referred to as the Upside Down. The mazes on both coasts will also parallel the hit show as it leaps forward to 1985, taking guests on a terrifying excursion through portions of Stranger Things 3, which is now streaming on Netflix.”
What’s in store for visitors?
In order to create an accurate portrayal of the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, the team at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort joined forces with Netflix and Stranger Things producers to make the set as authentic as possible – similar to what happened last year. This means guests are bound to encounter a Demodog lurking in the shadows.
Halloween Horror Nights is, without a doubt, the best Halloween event in town. The park has received visitors from all over the world for over twenty years, and they don’t plan on slowing down any time soon.
Be warned, though: guests enter at their own risk. The terrifying labyrinths and sets will transport people into their own horror movie – turning them into the victims. There’s scares waiting at every turn and on every street, so keep your eyes peeled for all the frights!
