Re-imagining Disney princesses in a myriad of ways has become quite the little internet trend. We’ve seen Disney princesses rendered as they’d look if they had grown up in the 70’s, as well as dark and creepy. Then there’s the chibi-style princesses, the princesses with realistic makeup, and those with realistic waistlines. We’ve even seen them turned into minions and hotdogs! Isaque Areas, from Brazil, has joined the string of artists and designers keen to make over our favorite characters. He’s re-imagined them to be the age they would be today, as if they had grown up since the movie they were featured in! On the results, Areas comments ‘Even older, we can be beautiful, kind, strong, gentle and smart like Disney characters, we can be children inside’. Take a look!

Jasmine is now 38 years old. (In the movie, she was 15)
