If Orlando is one of your top destinations (or you live here), you probably think of Disney. Am I right? Other than the theme parks, Orlando offers plenty of must-experience activities. The fun doesn’t stop at Disney World or Universal Studios! This list is for all the locals and visitors looking to spice up their week with Orlando Events. Here are Orlando’s Top 7 events each day of the week to help you plan some more excitement in your week!

*All events are subject to change due to inclement weather (welcome to Florida) and, of course, to COVID-19.

Mondays

Industry Monday’s @ Sky Lounge at Amway Center

A sleek view of the Sky Lounge in Downtown Orlando with unreal views of the beautiful SKYLINE

Every Monday from 9 to 11 pm, join us at the top of Amway Center for a night full of cocktails and music. Get ready because you’re about to have an amazing view of Downtown Orlando!

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

The venue has recently been remodeled and has impeccable views of the Orlando Downtown skyline. I would dress to impress since this is a swankier place to go for drinks in Orlando. Tickets are free to register, which is cool considering that if this were in NYC, it would be at least $40 to get into a nice rooftop. The drink prices are normal for an upscale bar in Orlando with novelty cocktails in the ballpark of $13 each. It’s definitely worth checking out!

Tuesdays

Tasty Tuesdays @ The Milk District

Food truck at Tasty Tuesdays at The Milk District near Downtown Orlando. People in from of one of the trucks trying tasty food of course!

Every week on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm – 10 pm, you have a chance to sample various foods at this community meetup featuring local food trucks. The best part is that it’s free to enter!

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

This is one of my favorite Orlando events during the week! Forget about Taco Tuesday; here, the choices are endless. Usually, there are about 8-12 different food trucks to satisfy your appetite. I particularly love how there are options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diets – everyone is happy!

You can expect to pay around $10 for a wholesome meal depending on what you get. Locals dress casual but cute when attending Tasty Tuesdays. The spot has a festive atmosphere with young adults, young families, and of course, dogs! This is also a great location for cute Instagram photos – your welcome!

Tasty Tuesday is located directly behind bars, The Nook and Sportstown off of E Robinson St.

My best advice is to park at Celebration St Parking for parking. It’s free and a short walk over to the food paradise.

Wednesdays

Wine Down Wednesday @ Ember (Downtown Orlando)

Bartender pours glass of wine at Wine Down Wednesday at Ember Orlando.

Ember’s Wine Down Wednesday is a weekly happy hour event. It has been going strong for over 5 years now, and it pays at the door to enjoy dancing, celebrating, unlimited wine, house-made sangria, and craft beer. Mingle with fellow young professionals in downtown Orlando every week from 5 pm – 10 pm!

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

I love Wine Down Wednesday! If you RSVP (Which it’s free to do), it only costs $12 for Women and $15 for Men; normally, it costs $20 a person if you don’t RSVP. For that mere cost of entry, you get UNLIMITED wine, house-made sangria, craft beer, and UNLIMITED appetizers… sounds too good to be true? Or sounds like the best event ever!?

People that go to this usually dress business casual. It starts right after most young professionals get out of work. Don’t overdress by any means but wearing a blazer is acceptable. This is one of the most popular Orlando events during the week. The music is always great, and the atmosphere is always fun, especially on “hump day”!

Personally, I try to avoid paying for parking in Downtown Orlando because there are always free options. Orlando on-street meters are enforced Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and charge $1.00 every hour. So if you get there at 5 pm – you’re only paying $1 to park! If you don’t mind a cute stroll through downtown and saving $15 on parking, I always suggest parking off Central Blvd near Lake Eola.

Thursdays

Rush Thursdays @ Southern Nights Orlando

People having fun at Southern Nights Orlando.

This Orlando event is fun for everyone! It’s one big fun party, and did I mention it’s $15 ALL YOU CAN DRINK for wells! On Thursdays, Southern Nights Orlando hosts their “college night” (You don’t have to be in college).

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

One of my all-time favorite gay clubs in Orlando! Many Thursdays have been spent here with my friends and me. Everyone here is super welcoming and friendly. Only positive and fun vibes here! If you’re looking to dance, see some drag shows, and have a good time, then this is the place for you – AND you don’t have to be a member of the LGBT community to go and have fun at a gay club by the way.

The dress code is cute and simple. If you’re thinking too much about what to wear, then you’re overthinking it. The parking lot is really tiny. You can always find street parking on the side streets, though! This is a must out of all the Orlando events if you want to have a few drinks and dance to good music.

Fridays

Fridays on the Plaza @ Winter Garden

Downtown Winter Garden has the cutest historic district. Made up of brick old fashioned buildings, it is a cool place to spend a Friday night.

Enjoy free live music every Friday night on the Plaza in Winter Garden from 7 to 9 pm! Family-friendly event for all ages in cute downtown of Winter Garden.

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

Downtown Winter Garden is like a mix of historic Savannah, GA, tied in with St. Augustine. It is a cute classic vibe that is very picturesque. Who doesn’t enjoy live music in such a historic setting?! I love this area; it has a row of delectable restaurants and amazing coffee shops. Definitely bring your camera (aka iPhone Portrait mode) and snap some cute photos of you and the fam… you won’t be disappointed!

Here is a list of all the different genres you can expect every Friday:

  • September 10 – Grimes Alley (Blues, Acoustic, Country)
  • September 17 – Don Soledad (Flamenco)
  • September 24 – Mariachi Internacional Tapatio (Mariachi)
  • October 1 – Sandy Back Porch (Bluegrass)
  • October 8 – Bird Dog Bobby (Blues)
  • October 15 – Holton Duo (Country, Bluegrass)
  • October 22 – Orlando Gentleman of Jazz (Jazz)
  • October 29 – Retro Ramblers (Oldies)
  • November 5 – Sound Traveler (Acoustic, Pop)
  • November 12 – Riley Resa (Originals, Acoustic)
  • November 19 – Salted Vine (Pop & Rock, 60’s to today)
  • November 26 – Mountain Brew (Bluegrass, Country)
  • December 10 – Juniper Club (Christmas, Holiday)
  • December 17 – The Caroling Company (Christmas, Holiday)

Saturdays

Farmers Market @ Winter Park on Saturdays

The Winter Park Farmers’ Market is Florida’s #1 market for fresh produce and plants. It takes place every Saturday morning from 8 a.m to 1 p.m., drawing in people looking for the best quality vegetables, fruits, plants, baked goods, and more!

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

Are there other great farmers’ markets in Orlando? Yes, there is, BUT the Winter Park Farmers Market is the best one, in my opinion. The amount of fresh vegetables you can get for $20 is incomparable to the other farmer’s markets. I go every week with my IKEA bag, and no joke, fill’ her up with organic vegetables for only $20 – talk about a grocery hack!! That same $20 will only get you 4-6 vegetables at Winter Garden or Lake Eola farmers markets. FYI make sure to have CASH if you plan on buying fresh vegetables.

Plant lover? If yes, then you’ll also love this farmer’s market. The Winter Park Farmers Market always has many flowers, herbs, bushes, and even small trees. They have fresh local honey stands, fresh seafood stands, artwork, and plenty of other stop-worthy stands. Also, if you see the lemonade stand, get the strawberry lemonade! It is to die for, especially on a hot Saturday.

Dress comfortably because it is all outside. Girls tend to wear flowy dresses, simple rompers, or just a cute tee with a pair of denim. Men at the farmer’s market also follow suit with the tee shirt and jeans vibe. Many people go to brunch along Park Ave since it’s across the street from the Famers Market. This is the hidden gem of Orlando events – a must-go-see! Orlando influencers come to the farmers market to take cute Instagram content, so if that’s your thing, then definitely bring your camera.

Sundays

Sunday Funday @ Ember (Downtown Orlando)

Champagne bottles being chilled in ice before Ember's Sunday brunch.

Ember on Sundays is the BEST WAY to end your week! Please leave it to Ember to offer $15 bottomless mimosas every Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.

The Real Tea Sis 💁🏼‍♀️

When I think of brunch, I think of Ember! It is such a staple for Sunday Funday. They have drag shows, play good music, and are open to everyone, including the LGBT community. People dress charming for Ember but, keep in mind it is outside. Sometimes if you tip the bartender good enough, they will hand over the bottles of champagne for your mimosas. Even though it is unlimited mimosas, who doesn’t love a whole bottle of bubbles at once? My go-to mimosa is peach juice and pineapple juice. If you like sweet taste over tart, you will enjoy these mixes! Seriously one of the best Orlando events of the week!

Orlando is Fun ALL week

“Take my hand, and I’ll show you how fun Orlando really is.”

Orlando offers plenty of must-experience activities outside the theme parks! There are so many things to do in Orlando that it can be hard to know where to start. This list is for all the locals and visitors looking to spice up their week with Orlando Events, including events happening every day of the week. If you enjoyed this list, be sure to bookmark this page, so you’re always in the know! If you know someone who would benefit from this list, definitely share it on your social media!
