All News About Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration

That’s right; it’s that time of year again. Christmas will come early for Walt Disney World visitors. The annual Christmas Day Parade will take over Magic Kingdom Park November 10 through 13 and this year’s special will be called “Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration.”

(Dec. 7, 2013): Joined by hundreds of Disney characters and performers, Emmy Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris tapes a musical number Dec. 7, 2013 for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade TV special at the Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. In addition to performing, Harris is one of the hosts of the annual holiday special. The 30th annual holiday telecast airs December 25 on ABC-TV. The show also will air in Canada on CBC Network, and across the globe on the American Forces Network. (Mark Ashman, photographer)

Guests do not need special tickets to attend the filming; however, admission to the Magic Kingdom will be required. One thing to keep in mind is that space for the filming is limited and that it is a day full of standing around, as many takes are filmed to make sure that things are perfect for the camera.

Those who would like to watch the “Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration” will be able to catch the annual traditional airing on Christmas Day on ABC.
