Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam New Christmas Show Coming to Hollywood Studios

We expect nothing less than constant innovations from the wonderful world of Disney. So to this we announce that Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be home to a new holiday show beginning next month, Walt Disney World revealed Friday.

The production — dubbed “Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam” — will involve themed projections upon the theme park’s Chinese Theater. It will be hosted by elf duo Wayne and Lanny from the ABC animated special “Prep & Landing.”

The show could help fill a holiday gap left by the discontinuation of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, which glimmered for the last time in January.

The park’s Streets of America, where the Dancing Lights show was installed annually for two decades, have been dismantled as Disney prepares to add lands devoted to the “Toy Story” and “Star Wars” movie franchies.

“Jingle Bell, Jingel Bam” will run nightly from Nov. 14 through Dec. 31.

The production will include moments from Disney films including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Bambi,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” and “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” according to the official Disney Parks Blog.

There also will be fireworks and “snow,” Disney says.

There will be a related dessert party that features reserved viewing spots, desserts, specialty beverages and a pair of 3D HoloSpex glasses to use during the show.

“Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular,” which currently runs nightly at Hollywood Studios, is not on the schedule of Disney World’s website after Nov. 6.
