Disney Cruise Line Annuounce The Launch of 2 New Ships!

According to Zap2it, Disney CEO Bob Iger disclosed that Disney Cruise Line will add two new cruise ships to its existing fleet over the next several years.

The announcement was made during the company’s annual meeting of shareholders. Iger said the new ships will launch in 2021 and 2023.Disney Cruise Ship Capsule

The cruise line currently has four ships, the Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy. The most recent addition to the fleet, the Fantasy, entered service in 2012. Which one is your favorite? Vote Here!

The Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany will build the ships.

The new ships will be approximately 135,000 gross tons. The Dream and Fantasy are both listed at just under 130,000 gross tons. The new ships will have 1,250 guest staterooms, the same number as the Dream and Fantasy.
