You have until December to say goodbye to Universal’s Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue.
Universal Studios confirmed earlier this year that the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue would be closing ahead of the new Fast and the Furious ride that would be replacing both Beetlejuice show and the Disaster ride.
Dec. 2 is now the last day of operations for the popular show that has been at the park since it opened in 1992. The show has seen a number of different iterations over the years and in more recent years has declined in popularity.
The show features a mix of Top 40s and classic rock music with live singing by performers. It is the only regular location within the Universal Orlando resort to see the classic Universal monsters live. The Universal monsters are featured in a café at Universal Studios Florida as well, which many expect to close in the coming years. The café though has no live face characters in it.
The Beetlejuice stadium has been a popular location for special events throughout the years, as well. The stadium will likely be demolished within the next few months as the site is prepared for the new Fast & Furious: Supercharge ride that will open in 2017.
